Recce with SI PE Mariet and Global ED Deborah for SI Convention 2019

In April 2017, Soroptimist International World President-Elect Mariet Verhof Cohen and Global Executive Director Deborah Thomas visited Kuala Lumpur for a series of meetings with the local committee, led by Convention Chair Puan Sri Siew Yong Gnanalingam, regarding the 21st SI Convention, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur.

Our SI Convention 2019 Kuala Lumpur Organising Committee, including co-Chair Joanne Yeoh and SISWP President-Elect Dato’ Anusha Santhirasthipam, were busy negotiating the best available arrangements for your Convention experience, incorporating a wealth of social and networking events. During the short visit, each day was spent recceing, scrutinising and appraising all necessary facilities at the world class iconic Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and hotels in the vicinity.
