SIROM talk at Sunway University

SIROM was invited by the Australian University Program of Sunway College lecturer Anita Paul to share with Sunway’s Social Issues and Community Engagement Class on SI as a voluntary service organisation and our projects. On 13 January 2016, SIROM President Elect Dr Saradha Narayanan, National Rep Joanne Yeoh, SI Damansara President Kala Subramaniam and SI Petaling Jaya President Sharon Saw went to Sunway to give an introduction to Soroptimism.

Firstly, Joanne Yeoh gave an overview presentation on SI as an organisation and SIROM’s projects and activities such as Walk the Talk. Kala Subramaniam and Sharon Saw then shared about their respective club’s projects. The morning ended with a lively Q&A session with good questions from the students.
